Data Centers house specialized equipment for processing and managing large volumes of information and data. The infrastructures that support the operation of these sites are considered extremely critical, in particular in terms of their security and availability, and by making sure and securing these parameters we can determine the reliability of the systems and the Data Center itself.

Some of the following services are provided:

• Design and development of a Data Center application study to meet the highest and most stringent international operating and safety standards.
• Implementation of Data Center construction by selecting the most appropriate equipment to achieve maximum efficiency and lower energy consumption.
• Certification of Data Center infrastructure availability according to international certification standards (eg. by Uptime Institute).
• Data Center operation and implementation of an energy management certification system for system performance optimization.

The above services are already provided for OTE and COSMOTE Data Centers.

OTE Group DCs are of Tier III (Concurrently Maintainable) standard, based on the UPTIME Institute Ranking system; allowing for any planned maintenance activity of power and cooling systems to take place without disrupting the operation of computer hardware located in the data center.

For the operation of Data Centers in the OTE Group we apply an energy management system according to ISO 50001:2011 standard.
