The Green Tariff is a special electricity program offering competitive rates and transparency, with a price adjustment mechanism based on market energy prices (MCP).
Both residential consumers and businesses with low-voltage supply who seek competitive rates without hidden costs.
It’s the part of the final electricity price that adjusts monthly based on wholesale market fluctuations.
In the Green Tariff, the monthly final price is calculated as:
Final Price = Base Supply Price + Price Adjustment Mechanism
The Base Supply Price is set by the provider and remains fixed for at least 6 months.
The Price Adjustment Mechanism is calculated using specific coefficients related to the energy market and is announced monthly.
The final price is published by the first day of each month on the provider’s website.
This mechanism ensures transparency and allows consumers to benefit from potential market price reductions.

The Electrical Installation Declaration (EID) is mandatory by law. Without it, a new installation cannot be connected to the grid, nor can an existing installation be reconnected if its power supply was interrupted for safety re-inspection.
The EID is issued by a certified electrician, who declares that the installation described in the document:
- Has been constructed in compliance with current electrical regulations.
- Has been inspected by the same electrician to confirm it is safe.
- Has undergone re-inspection if it is an existing installation, to ensure continued safety.
- Is handed over to the owner or user with guaranteed protection against electric shock, fire, and malfunction.
The responsibility for submitting the EID lies with the property user and owner. It must be filed with the local office of the Distribution Network Operator (HEDNO).
Does the EID needs renewal?
Yes, renewal is legally required. The initial inspection must take place before the first connection of any installation or after major modifications. Re-inspections must be carried out at intervals depending on the type of installation:

- Indoor commercial spaces without flammable materials: at least every 7 years.
- Indoor commercial spaces with flammable materials: at least every 2 years.
